Partial CMS

A partial CMS system is commonly deployed where one or more sections of the content for a site need to be modified regularly, or where a site owner wishes to be able to add new content frequently; eg a blog or news page.

Each part of a site which a site owner wishes to be able to edit for themselves requires a content management system. A news area needs a tool to enable the owner to add new news stories (and edit them if needed). A guest book requires a tool such that the site owner can edit or delete unsuitable postings but where large sections of the site do not need to be edited frequently.
